Surfline recently spent some time on the Atlantic Seaboard, as the coast saw record-breaking surfing conditions. But at what cost, as the swell was due to a few hurricanes that devastated other regions of the world. A handful of athletes, including Dragon’s Evan Geiselman, managed to find themselves in auspicious conditions. View the photo and video gallery here.

Surfline just released a feature with two Dragon surfers, Evan Geiselman and Michael Dunphy, cruising up and down the Atlantic seaboard in search of waves, and to escape the insanity of Spring Break. Both young surfers are from the Eastern seaboard (Dunphy VI, Geiselman FL), and were on a mission to surf their hearts out while on home turf.
“Crowds were not an issue,” Dunphy explains. “It was pretty spread out everywhere we went, and everybody was really mellow. That’s just the Outer Banks for you: plenty to go around.”
Check out this fun video of Dragon’s young guns Evan Geiselman, Colt Ward, and Taylor Clark as they wander around in the new Detail Collection from Dragon. With designs that merge style and substance, the new Detail Collection from Dragon offers four unique, Italian-made frames built on premium details and clean, classic good looks. Sure, they look like fun but these are serious sunglasses. Blending these classic elements with Dragon’s design language and the input of their exceedingly stylish surf team, the Detail Collection frames emerge as fresh and modern with an elevated aesthetic. Styles include the Marquis, Monarch, Liege, and Count in stores spring ’16.
Dragon athlete Evan Geiselman took this year’s win at the 2013 Kona Pro Jax event in Jacksonville Beach, FL. In solid chest high surf Evan put on an unstoppable performance taking him to the final, even posting the 1st ever 10-point ride in the contest. With a $3,000 increase in the wallet and wearing his Dragon Viceroy sunglasses, Evan is all smiles. Check out the event recap here: http://bit.ly/GzKZ2f
