Riding the momentum from the season opener at A1, Dragon’s Supercross rider Jason Anderson never looked back en route to his win at stop 2 of Supercross, Houston. This is Jason’s first win of the season and second consecutive podium finish.
“Excited to come out with the win,” Jason told the post-race press conference. “But at the same time, you know, this is a step in the process and [I’m] excited to do battle the rest of the year with these two [podium finishers Ken Roczen and Justin Barcia].”
This finish at NRG Stadium gives Anderson 49 points towards the a Championship, a small seven point lead over aforementioned Ken Roczen and Justin Barcia. The Supercross series heads back to Anaheim next weekend for A2. 250 West racer for Dragon, Mitchell Harrison, finished 13th and sits 12th in the points chase.
